Toothy's Horses

Toothy owns three horses. Their names are Chester, Benny and Blackie. Blackie is all black; he is a boy. Chester is a sort of a chestnut brown with a black mane and tail and black hooves. He has won the Great Stuffed Animal Race for five years in a row! Benny is a light brown with white splotches all over him. He is very handsome.

Toothy races his horses often and he owns a farm where he keeps his other animals. He has four pigs, three sheep and five lizards. He also has three rats and 11 chickens. He takes good care of all of them and pretty much all of them he enters in contests which mostly they win. He loves them very much and tries to let all of his friends meet them. He is on vacation, though, and he has an animal sitter, which (you can imagine) is very rowdy.

  1. I used to own a horse. We called her Trinka and she had three ears. At least that’s what it looked like. One of her ears was split in two, so there were two on one side and one on the other. She lived in a pasture in Boulder, Colorado. In the winter it would get cold and she would grow a thick coat. I’d come to the pasture every day to feed her. Trinka was not happy about living in the cold. To show me her displeasure, she would refuse to come to the gate to get her food. This would mean I’d have to walk to the far side of the pasture and coax her to come for her food. She liked the food but liked more that I would have to go to the extra effort in the cold.

  2. I'm hoping for some more posts to this blog soon. Also, the last post, about Toothy's horses on May 31, has been translated into wingdings on my computer screen, and I can't read a single letter.
